Cookie Policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage and session storage, store data in the same way. This policy explains which ones dppview.eu (the “Site”), operated by SIA "WEB DESIGN AGENCY", Reg. 40203779332, VAT LV40203779332, Rīga, Brīvības iela 155, LV-1012, uses and how you can control them. Personal data in general is covered by our Privacy Policy.

How consent works on this Site

When you first visit the Site, a consent banner provided by CookieScript lets you accept or reject cookies by category: Strictly necessary, Performance, Targeting and Functionality. Only strictly necessary cookies are set before you choose, and Google Analytics does not run at all until you accept the Performance category. Your choice is stored in the CookieScriptConsent cookie for 30 days, so you are not asked again on every page. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie icon in the bottom left corner of every page.

Cookies and storage we use

Strictly necessary

These are needed for the Site and the consent banner to work and do not require consent.

  • CookieScriptConsent (CookieScript, cookie, 30 days): stores the choices you made in the consent banner.
  • wp-wpml_current_language (dppview.eu, cookie, 1 day): remembers which language version of the Site you are viewing.
  • dppviewLeadToken (dppview.eu, session storage, deleted when the tab closes): links the steps of the demo request form after you have completed the first step, so an unfinished request can be resumed. Contains a random identifier only.
  • wordpress_*, wp-settings-* (dppview.eu, cookies, session to 1 year): set only for staff who log in to manage the Site. Visitors never receive them.
  • dppview_internal (dppview.eu, cookie, 1 year): set only on our own staff’s devices, so that our internal visits are left out of the statistics. Visitors never receive it.

Performance (analytics)

Performance cookies help us understand how visitors use the Site, for example which pages are read, which buttons are clicked and at which step visitors leave the demo request form. We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited and loaded through Google Tag Manager. These cookies are set, and data is sent to Google, only if you accept the “Performance” category in the banner. If you decline or do not choose, Google Analytics does not run.

  • _ga (Google Analytics, cookie, 2 years): distinguishes visitors with a random identifier.
  • _ga_08LK4QPR2M (Google Analytics, cookie, 2 years): keeps the state of your visit (session).

We never send the contents of form fields (names, email, phone, company or message) to Google Analytics. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Google may process data in the United States; such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information: Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Targeting (marketing)

Marketing cookies would be used to show relevant advertising and measure campaigns. The Site does not currently use any marketing cookies. Any future use will be listed here and will require your consent in the banner.

Managing cookies in your browser

Besides the banner, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site, such as the consent banner or the demo request form, from working properly. Instructions for common browsers are available from their vendors: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy whenever the cookies used on the Site change. The date at the top shows the current version.
